TOUR NADERE GEGEVENS
This short weekend wild camping expedition to the loch Laggan area takes you through one of Scotland's most scenic and inspiring wilderness areas. You will be leaving urban life and modern comforts behind - the only way to experience and appreciate wild Scotland at its most glorious!
Tour Itinerary
We will be walking for about 30 minutes to 1 hour on Friday night, 8/9 hours on Saturday and 5/6 hours on Sunday. Full itinerary as follows:
Friday
We will be picked up from Edinburgh at 6pm - heading via Pitlochry and blair Atholl to Loch Laggan. An evening meal will be provided en route. On arrival at Loch Laggan, we will walk a short distance up to the shores of Lochan na-h Earba where we will set up camp.
Saturday
After breakfast, we will head up the nearest munros (3000ft+ mountains -Creag Pitridh and Geal Charn) which have wide ranging views over much of teh central Highlands. (+ 600m/2000ft hill ascent, some rough ground, 7 hours walking). if teh weather is fine,we may swim in teh bracing lochan before our camping dinner in the evening.
Sunday
Our final day will be spent looking around ochan na earba before heading down to loch Laggan where we will explore the Falls of pattack and other places featured on TVs Monarch of the Glen(8km/5m paths and tracks, 5 hours walking)
We will spend some time having a post-trip drink and meal in Blair Atholl before heading back to Edinburgh in the evening.
