Property description

Ashgrove House is a spacious and homely B&B located in the City of Limerick, just a short 2 min walk to Thomand Park Rugby grounds and Limerick Institute of Technology. Also just a 15 min drive to and from Shannon Airport.

Our rooms are very comfortable and all en-suite, incl TV\'s.

Tours can be arranged to the Cliffs of Moher For €30, picked up at 10.00am and returned at the BnB at 7pm, their are also tours to Bunratty Castle and Adare. Their are tours of Galway Bay, Kilarney and the Ring of Kerry also available from Limerick.

We are just 5 mins walk to downtown Limerick City Centre. Within a easy walk of great shops, bars and restaurants etc.

Limerick is a great base from which to tour Ireland. Many people stay 3 or 4 nights or more because it is so convenient. Killarney is 90 minutes drive, Cork city is 90 minutes drive. The Cliffs of Moher and Doolin are also 90 minutes drive, Galway 2 hours drive etc etc

There is a Lidl supermarket down the street, a Shopping Centre (with Dunnes stores supermarket), a bank with ATM machine an off license for beer and wine) and currency exchange and the Woodfield Hotel within 2 minutes walk .

Thomond Park Rugby: We are conveniently located within just 2 minutes walk of Thomond Park Rugby grounds.

Golf: Top golf courses within 20 minutes drive, including Dromoland, Limerick golf course and Castletroy.

Limerick's cultural scene was significantly enhanced in March 2003 when the magnificent new 350-seat Millennium Theatre at Limerick Institute of Technology, Moylish Park opened.

The Hunt Museum is also worth a visit, exhibiting one of Ireland\'s greatest private collections of art and antiquities, dating from the Neolithic to the 20th Century, including works by Renoir, Picasso and Yeats.

For the fishing enthusiast we have several prime fishing locations nearby for salmon, game and deep sea fishing. The Shannon River at O\'Briens Bridge is a wide slow moving and offers excellent fishing.

Bookings that are cut short after arrival will be subject to charge of first night of stay. We operate a 3 day cancellation policy.
