Welcome to Dreamtime Travellers Rest. This small and secure hostel features Cairns most relaxed, unique and homely atmosphere!

Your accommodation is set within a lush tropical oasis featuring comfortable hammocks in the trees by the pool. Your room will have fresh clean linen, duvets and towels. All of this is just a 5 minute walk to the city centre, markets and swimming lagoon.

Dreamtime is family owned and operated. The dynamic team spirit within all our staff will ensure you have a great stay. We pride ourselves on our local knowledge. Please ask about our weekly tour specials that will save you money and time!

Every wednesday night is our famous BBQ with croc and kangaroo tasting. Watch our Spectacular Fire Show and learn the basics afterwards.

Cafe Melt offers a wide range of tastes from all over the world, the feature meals rotate nightly. We are happy to offer you a 10 dollar meal deal with free high speed internet each night you stay. We are open from 9.00am for breakfast.
