Property description

Over 25 years ago, Bob decided he wanted a hostel. A youth hostel that is, where young people from all over the world could sleep under the cleanest of sheets without having too pay to much. Since this year we are spicing up the rooms. Bob's now has duvets and the rooms are decorated with art works made by young artists and travelers passing through. Bob thought it would be nice to locate his hostel in the center of Amsterdam, 5 minutes from Centraal Station and Dam Square. So he set up this hostel.

Today, Bob's Youth Hostel has 144 beds, divided into mixed dorms and one girl's dorm. The dorms all have bathrooms and toilets. Beds are 22 euro a night, breakfast included. The size of the rooms varies between 4 and 16 persons. Because we give all our guests the opportunity to extend their stay, we rather do not promise small rooms and only offer 16 person dorms online. On arrival you might find out we reserved you a smaller room (for the same price). If you are a laid back traveler, looking for a relaxed hostel, Bob's is the place for you!!!

If anything happens, during your travels and you think you might arrive later, just call us to change the arrival time and we will keep your reservation. On arrival you can always ask if you can extend your stay!!

If you make Bob's your home away from home, the lobby will be your living room away from your living room. Here you'll find the bar, television and games, a book swap and of course other guests to entertain you. The bar is open from 08:00-03:00 am. The hostel itself doesn't have a curfew.

Please note that we have age restrictions; we can not accept people under 18 or above 30 years old. We accept cash only, so please remember this when you come over to the hostel.

Bob liked some quiet from time to time and he realized there must be others who appreciate rest. To accommodate them, he added apartments for two or three persons to his hostel. And what nice apartments they are. They have a kitchen, television and bathroom. To book apartments you should send us an email.

This is a must see for anybody who wants the nightlife to stop at the front door.
