Property description

Located on the bustling South Bank of the Thames, Bankside House offers great value private rooms. Just two minutes from Shakespeare's Globe theatre and the world renowned Tate Modern art gallery with St Paul's Cathedral, the London Eye and Tower Bridge just a stroll away along the river.

Bankside offers a variety of room types from single to quads many of which are en suite and all with in room tea & coffee making facilities. All prices include an excellent English or continental breakfast. The Bankside restaurant also offers affordable meals on most lunch times and evenings. Linen, towels and cleaning are all included in the cost.

On the lower ground floor you'll find the bar area complete with pool tables and seating areas. A fully equipped games room and a spacious TV lounge are also available. Bankside House also contains a coin operated laundry and ironing facilities. Internet access is provided in the reception area.

The West End of London is easily accessible from Bankside either by walking along the Thames or jumping on the Jubilee line from Southwark or London Bridge stations, both less than ten minutes walk away. The City is a short walk over Southwark Bridge with the Docklands, Canary Wharf, the O2 arena and ExCeL also accessible via the Jubilee line.

Bankside House has a friendly reception desk open 7am - 11pm, offering advice on local attractions, transport etc. Outside of these times security staff are present. We offer 24 hour access with no curfew.



LSE Bankside House is a student residence owned and operated by the London School of Economics and Political Science. It is available to the general public on a nightly, bed and breakfast, basis outside of term time. All profits go towards supporting and subsidising student accommodation.
