The Turgeon International hostel is a designated Municipal Heritage Property, built in 1906. The warm and friendly home-away-from-home atmosphere will definitely make your stay an enjoyable one. Check in hours are from 7 - 10 a.m. and 5 - 10 p.m.

The hostel is within easy walking distance of the city's wide range of entertainment, shopping and attractions. The hostel is also adjacent to the beautiful Wascana Centre, hosting bicycle and hiking trails, a swimming pool, a waterfowl park and the Saskatchewan Legislature building.

Our property features a travel resource library, a travel shop, cable television/VCR lounge, FREE internet, fully equipped kitchen, laundry and lockers.

The hostel also hosts in-house activities and programs including walking tours, international dinner nights, international cooking classes, travel talks and discounts for attractions and restaurants.

'Attention International Guests': To use HI hostels, you should be a member of the National Youth Hostel Association recognized by the International Youth Hostel Federation.
If you are not a member, you are required to either:
-purchase a Welcome Stamp when you arrive at the hostel, or
-purchase a membership from the nearest Youth Hostel Association Office before you start your journey.
Canadian guests can either purchase a membership or pay a non-member rate.
