Property description
Bayt Jasmin is a small, family run B&B ideally located a mere 500 meters from the Kasbah and Medina. Historically, our neighborhood - Marchan - was the residential area under international rule, and we are surrounded by many beautiful colonial houses that still stand as testimonials to a much documented and culturally diverse era.
A short stroll will take you to the cliffs facing the Straits of Gibraltar as well as the famous Hafa Café and, a few paces further, to the door of the Kasbah and the medina.
Located on the ground floor of a two-level villa, Bayt Jasmin B&B is accessible for people of all ages and health conditions (only two steps lead from the street to the room). Large (35 m), sunny and comfortable, our guest room consists in reality of two adjoined rooms; a large one, equipped with a double bed, dining table, TV equipment Satellite/DVD/VCR/CD player), computer with WiFi, and a smaller room at the back, which is used as an office/reading room, or can accommodate a child or third adult.
Decorated in soft warm colours and local fabrics, the room has its own private bathroom and is heated, so it can be used all the year round. The private terrace is a great place to enjoy a restful afternoon or an evening meal under the jasmine-covered canopy facing the garden.
With its private terrace and three large bay-windows overlooking our flower-filled garden, Bayt Jasmin is in a very pleasant, safe neighbourhood a stone's throw from the hussle and bustle of Tangiers lively, winding old streets.
An ideal opportunity to enjoy the best of both facets of this intriguing city.
