Yanzi, the owner of Birdsnest guesthouse,a girl who was born in a seashore family and fight for her dream as a golden-collar in Beijing for several years.
From 2004,Yanzi starts her new life. Through half of one year's travel by herself, Yanzi found an old town which she is looking for ,it is shangri-la,it is Moon city (ZhongDian Dukezong town).Only one sight, Yanzi fall in love with the plateau,with the old town and the old house .Then ,now's Birdsnest guesthouse.
Birdsnest Guesthouse is over 60 years old, sits in the center of the old town,you can enjoy the lively of the town(about 2 minutes walking to the dancing square ,restaurants,and so on).But, Birdsnest is on the way to Hundred chickens temple(Baijisi百鸡寺)，far enough to be quiet to enjoy reading book,music and sleeping.
In Yanzi's wish, Birdsnest should has animal like cat,dog or fish,also plant like beautiful flower,green grass or fresh vegetable,the most is friends from different places with different culture.All of these should be stay in the friendly,peaceful and happy life mood.
Yanzi,transfermates Birdsnest by her feeling every year, and every room has different style.
The third floor,is Garret floor be repaired in 2006 by new wood.There are three rooms,which is 'Yan LanFei' 'YanYu YingFei' and 'CuiLiu FeiYan' with provite Chamberpot and washbasin. Shower room is in the countryyard.In the rooms,
You will find colourful roof designed by Yanzi and made by tibetan painter.Also,you could see stars and moon in night, white clouds and blue sky through the glass above the bed.It's the all meaning about romantic when I was young.
On the second floor, we have a wide tibetan style living room and three guest rooms('YanWo'-means birdsnest,a marriage room with red colour and round-bed, 'YanChao' -means home,a family room with two bedrooms and a private balcony,and 'Yan ShuangFei'-a ordinary double-beds room without washroom). This floor is re-designed and finished in 2007.On this floor,you could truly feel you are in a typical pleteau DiqingZhou tibetan family's house.
On the first floor, a no-opening to outside restaurant,Bar is provieded to friends staying in Birdsnest Guesthouse with some trekking information and pictures.You can read book at the corner and enjoy the music on the sofa and try the local food or local drinks,like coffe,beer,wine, white liquor,and a lot of others here.
We have three rooms on the first floor,too('YanJu1', 'YanJu2' , and 'Yan GuiLai').
'YanJu1' and 'YanJu2', are connected in one,named 'YanJu Life' ,be finished by 2009,has a independent lovely living room.It's suitable to whom like to communicate with the other travellers. 'YanJu Life' also has the private washroom. 'Yan Guilai' is a ordinary double-beds room without washroom.
