Property description
In a familiar and multilingual atmosphere we rent 2,3 and 4 bed apartments.
GORGONIA APARTMENTS, our residence is built directly on the sea, in the northern part of the virgin Croatian island Dugi otok,
in the village of Verunic - Veli Rat, just 1,5 hour far from the city of Zadar.
We rent the following kind of apartments:
-2 beds
big room with two beds and kitchen, bathroom with shower and WC, balcony with view to the sea, telephone, TV-SAT, air condition and a safe. Bed linen included.
-3 beds
sleeping room with two beds, bathroom with shower and WC, room with one bed and kitchen, balcony with lateral view to the sea, telephone, TV-SAT, air condition and a safe. Bed linen included.
-4 beds
sleeping room with two beds, bathroom with shower and WC, room with two beds and kitchen, big balcony with view to the sea, telephone, TV-SAT, air condition and a safe. Bed linen included.
Our guests can stay in the garden on the sea border and use the big covered grill (with wood or gas), to cook their own food. There is store behind in the house, where you can also buy the appreciated products of the island like olive oil and honey. The guests can also use two big deep freezers. The parking place is behind the house, in the shadow of big pine trees. A storage room for the sport equipment is downstairs.
At Gorgonia you can rent bicycles and a motorboat.
We organize fascinating excursions with our two fast boats.
You can spend a wonderful day in the marine National park of the Kornati, where you can eat fresh fish on grill in the shadow of old olive trees. If you like fishing we organize fishing excursions: feel the emotion to catch a big fish and to eat it the same night in our silent garden. If you wish we take you to nearby islands: there you can discover the surroundings walking or biking: we'll pick you up in the evening. Feel free and let you carry to the island Zverinac to have dinner in a characteristic restaurant which offers fresh sea food. The way back home under a sky full of stars and a night with perfumes of the sea is a unique feeling!
Technical characteristics of the boats:
Cabin boat, 8,50 meters with 2 Yamaha inboard engines each 240 hp and open boat, 7 meters with Mercury outboard engine 150 hp; both equipped for fishing and excursions.

The sea around Dugi otok is crystal clear and offers a spectacular contrast of colours: white sand in turquoise water. In an area of few square kilometres there are many bays, every one with different characteristics. We like to indicate the sandy beach Saharun which is one of the most nice beaches in Croatia and two beaches surrounded with pine trees near to the big lighthouse. For those who like snorkelling we suggest the Pantera bay because in a depth of a few meters lie sunken boats to discover.
