Welcome to our charming country side estate for comfortable accommodation and refreshing outdoor activities. Lakene Farm is a place to remember!
Lakene farm is located close to Hagfors, Varmland, which is roughly midway between Stockholm and Oslo. The picturesque surroundings include wide open fields, deep forests and a beautiful lake as well as many kinds of wild and tame animals.
Our old agriculture farm has been lovingly kept in its authentic state, presenting a warm and unique atmosphere to our guests. The single and double rooms as well as the guest kitchen are all located in the farms old stables. You will find the reception, breakfast area and cafe in the old cow shed. Right outside where the dung heap used to be we now have a cosy little garden with tables for guests of the cafe, or anybody else that would like to sit and sniff the sweet fragrance of flowers and wistfully imagine days long since past.
Apart from the unique kind of accommodation, Lakene Farm also offers many kinds of activities and adventures in the wild and beautiful Scandinavian nature scene.
