Welcome to New York City & Spot Hostels | 5th Avenue!
The 5th Avenue Spot is located only 15 minutes away from the heart of New York City by public transportation and only 15 blocks away from Central Park. We are also located in a rich multi-cultural environment that will surely peak your interest. Just minutes away we have the Apollo Theatre, Lenox Lounge, and the world-renowned Cotton Club. Along with a diverse shopping district, you will also find some of the most intriguing educational Landmarks full of the magnificent culture, like Columbia University, The Studio Museum, The Duke Ellington Statue & the Malcolm Shabazz Market. Our staff is also friendly, courteous and will help you with whatever you may desire! We provide our guests with 24-hour reception, access to security lockers for a small fee, key card access and a luggage room for your convenience and safety. The subway station is only 1 ½ blocks away (2 minute walk). We provide our guest with a kitchen, and internet access (free Wi-Fi) so you can stay connect with friends, family, and business.
During the summer months our patio deck is the right spot to hang out and stay cool while treating yourself to some delicious bbq on the grill (weekly). We pride our self in keeping things clean (daily housekeeping) and stress free for our guests, which is why our housekeeping staff is well trained to handle whatever arises. We also understand the need for our guests to unwind and socialize with each other, which is why we will be opening up our roof deck to add to your enjoyment this summer! Cancellations or changes must be notified to the hostel at least 48 hours in advance via phone or email. In case you don't show up without notice, a total of one night will be charged to you., not including your web deposit.
