Property description
Air hotel is a tiny hotel facing the exhibition centre of Le Bourget, the Space museum and the Le Bourget Aiport, at 12 km from the exhibition centre of Villepinte, near Paris and Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport.
The hotel welcomes its guests in 35 rooms with tv, bathroom and internet wifi free. The hotel was built in 1930, in the same period that the Bourget Airport. The airport opens in 1919 and will stay the only French one until the building of the Orly airport. In 1927, after 5800 kilometers, Charles Lindbergh take off facing 200 000 visitors. Five years after the construction of the hotel, a conquest was organized to elect the architect of the new airport. Georges Labro won and began the construction until the new opening in 1937.
Right from this date, the owners of the Hotel engraved on the main wall of the building the name 'Air Hotel'. It welcomed the first pioneers of the Aircraft Industry, the ingeniors and soon, the first passengers.
