Welcome to Guest House Hannari.
Once a traditional heisei merchant house, our newly opened guesthouse is within walking distance of Nijo castle. Hannari has a friendly, cosy and relaxed atmosphere.
Located in the CENTRE of Kyoto, there is much to see in Nijo. From the spectacular NIJO CASTLE to the TRADITIONAL neighbourhood streets. Feel free to rent a bike and enjoy a pleasant cycle to the nearby KYOTO IMPERIAL PALACE. Plus, you can even experience JAPANESE CULTURE with a class in making japanese sweets!
We have ENGLISH SPEAKING STAFF here at Hannari who can offer advice and help during your stay.
There are beautiful WORLD HERITAGE sites all around Kyoto, TEMPLES and SHRINES in particular, and these can be easily reached by bus.
Because of Hannari`s central location, many sites are just a short bus ride away.
KINKAKUJI temple : 20 mins
KIYOMIZU temple : 25 mins
ARASHIYAMA area : 25 mins
