With the Obelisk, the Government House (aka Casa Rosada), The Parlament´s Building and the Colon Theatre at a throw of a ston, you will easily reach Florida Street, Recoleta, La Boca, San Telmo and any other place you have heard of, within walking distance, a short bus ride (more than 30 city lines in a two blocks radio) or a quick metro experience.
