We are just a 2 minute walk from the heart of Melbourne city. We are a small, easy-going, friendly hostel with approximately 60 beds.
We are right across from the Melbourne's, Victoria Markets and a 2 minute walk from trams, shops, and cafes giving so there's lots to do and see.

Accommodation consists of single, double and 4 to 6 person shared dorm rooms and great hostel facilities that include full modern kitchen, TV room, internet, courtyard, rooftop and a bar. The atmosphere is laid-back, lived in and a bit retro.
Our hostel is perfectly located close to major Melbourne attractions, fine restaurants, boutique shopping and sporting venues. The friendly and lively atmosphere at Global Backpackers is perfect for a great Melbourne experience.

OFFICE HOURS are:
Monday - Friday from 7am to 1pm and then 4pm to 9pm.
Saturday and Sunday from 7am to 12pm and 4pm to 9pm.
Weekly specials only apply if booked through the specials application. Guests may extend their stay past the 7 day period with reception.
