Property description

The Hotel Alpina is a child- and family-friendly hotel with a big garden and a children's playground in Kandersteg in the Bernese Oberland.

We offer mountain view from all rooms, a lounge with an open fireplace, a pleasant restaurant and a leisure room with TV and video.

In summer a terrace restaurant and deck chairs are available. You can also play table tennis and darts. In winter there is direct access to the cross-country ski runs.

The restaurant serves a number of different Swiss specialties, including our famous home-made 'Steintal rösti', cheese fondue and the special house coffee.

This beautiful mountain village is 1200 meters above sea level. It is surrounded by imposing mountains and unspoilt landscape. This was formed by glaciers and volcanoes many thousands of years ago. Traces of glaciers can still be found.

From 4 to 15 years old, children will be charged for an extra bed 3 times their age per night (7 years old, CHF 21; 10 years old: CHF 30).

Breakfast and taxes are included in room rates.

Pets permitted. Charges may be applicable.

Private parking is possible on site (reservation is needed) and costs CHF 6.00 per day.
