Alongside magical indigenous forest in the heart of the Garden Route, at Peaceof Eden - Hostel, Backpackers & Traveler's Lodge you can stay in an assortment of creative self cater accommodation, like forest safari tents with proper beds, timber chalets / cabins, fairy tale double storey cottage & 2 lovely double rooms in our main lodge all overlooking forest, exotic tropical gardens and paddocks with our 2 resident horses Ms Muffit & Bilbo Baggins.
You can enjoy a drink at our A'muso bar & Bistro where you might be entertained by wondering muso's who record at our music studio, or sit around the bush forest barbecue pit and relax under the stars and watch the firefly's dance by. Relax and unwind, read a book or go for a walk in our forest or canoe on our lily pond.
We also have guided forest walks with Howard our legendary qualified Tour & Nature Guide, he does township/sights and sounds of Knysna & even Addo Elephant Game Reserve if you wish, a mere 3 hours away. In fact most of the sights to see on the Garden Route are only an hour or so away, so we are a perfect base to stay for exploring the beautiful forests and waterways, beaches, caves and game reserves of the Garden Route.
We can provide pick up & morning and evening shuttle to town. The area is incredibly safe. Come to the Peace of Eden and experience the magical indigenous forest of Knysna in the heart of the garden route!
