The Kangaroo Island YHA overlooks beautiful Hog Bay in the town of Penneshaw. The YHA hostel has a lawned garden with sea views, on-site laundry, light airy rooms, friendly local staff and is a two minute walk from the ferry. Penguins are often seen in the garden. Local wildlife such as wallabies come into the town around dusk, and penguins colonies are located very close to the hostel.
