Pr' Tatko Hostel' is Kranjska Gora's friendliest hostel! It is a beautiful 100 year old building with a warm atmosphere and fun modern vibes. It is located in the picturesque Podkoren village on the border of Triglav national park. This heritage building has large rooms with high ceilings, filled with warmth and hospitality.
Located in the heart of a traditional Slovenian alpine village, the 19th century architecture, hand painted walls and classic furniture are perfect to come home to after a long day of tours and activities in the Julian Alps.

At this youth hostel you will make friends and experience things you will never forget. We personally organise tours and activities for our guests according to their interests. Back at the hostel you can share your adventures with our guests from around the world and get a feeling for the unique culture of Slovenia and the scenic adventure of the Alps!
The hostel is surrounded by the mountains and forests, so you can bike, trek or ski or you can enjoy the following recreational activities we offer in summer: rock climbing, paragliding, caving and rafting or kayaking in the amazingly beautiful river Soèa in Bovec.
In winter the mountains offer a wide range of outdoor activities such as cross country or alpine skiing and snowboarding. We also organise dog sledding, snowshoeing and ski school for all those who have just started to enjoy winter sports.
