If you want to know the city of Merida with over 10 Museums, nearly 50 Art Galleries, its squares with music and outdoor entertainment then NOMADAS is the best option.

NOMADAS SITUATED NORTH OF THE MAIN SQUARE IN THE MOST ELEGANT OF THE CITY-IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TWO CULTURAL CENTER OF THE CITY: The main square (Zócalo) and Paseo de Montejo and is located equidistant from the five bus stations in the city (CAME, TAME, Northeast, Central (all south) and Fiesta Americana (north).

If you do not care to know the city, we suggest you stay in the south of Merida in a hotel near the main bus terminals.

But if you want to know the most beautiful part of Merida, receive much of the city tourist information, tours hire cheaper, having a gracious reception and sleep without noise then come NOMADAS HOSTEL.

NOMADAS opened its doors in November 1999 in a mansion dating from 1790. It was the first HOSTEL Mexico's so-called new era of the hostels. In 2009 completed 10 years.

All cultural and commercial activities of Merida City occurs around NOMADAS HOSTEL: only three blocks from the Paseo de Montejo with its Mexican fiesta and the Anthropology Museum, 2 blocks to Plaza Santa Lucia with its folk dances, to 3, 4 or 5 blocks from the Main Square, museums, bars, theaters, supermarkets, American Express office, Banks ...

HOSTEL NOMADAS give you a continental breakfast (coffee, bread and jam) next to our equipped kitchen, you can use it, after shopping in a supermarket. you personally prepare your own eggs, cut fruits and save your own food in our refrigerator.

Also enjoy free salsa classes with our excellent teacher Nestor, in three days ensures that you can go to try your luck at the dance floor of Mambo cafe!

NOMADAS also have free wireless internet at no cost.

Also listen to Don Armando, one of the best troubadours of the city - to sing the most beautiful and romantic songs of Yucatan and Latin with his guitar.

And if you just want to relax or chili out you can immerse yourself in the most beautiful pool in the City with the best ecological environment.

Some additional information that you must have:

A continental breakfast is Self Service between the hours of 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.. The green board is written as it deserves.

Salsa classes are from 7 to 8 pm and TROVA (Guitar), 9 to 10 PM Monday through Friday.

To purchase HAMMOCKS read our instructions placed in the hall. Do not pay over 350 pesos.

A taxi from the bus station (south of the city) and the hostel should cost you one euro and a half (30 pesos) and from the hostel and the airport about 4 euros (80 dollars). To travel between the airport and the hostel the price is 150 pesos, but if you walk 1 km take the taxi meter running on the Avenida Itza or simply wait for the bus that passes in front the airport and goes to center city.

Bus Ticket: 1st class bus ticket reserve at nomadas hostel, the phone call is free, the delivery service for the tickets cost 12 pesos extra charge. The delivery service cost the same for 1 or 20 tickets.

To purchase a ticket to City of Mexico, Cuba, Canada, USA, Europe or Central or South America or anywhere in the world, the reception will communicate with our Travel NOMADAS TRAVEL. We have the best prices.

Tours are available for Uxmal, Kabah and Chichen Itza with Transportation and Guide for 235 pesos. Celestun at 450 pesos (boat, food and transport). We also have tours to the Cenotes of Cuzama for 375 pesos (transport and guide)

Every three days, ask for a clean bed linen. The towel service is free but we request for a deposit of 50 pesos which is returned when you return the towel. Prepay. We accept credit cards.

Nomadas, receives thousands of guests a year and knows the needs of the majority of travelers to leave early to the the ruins and ecological reserves around Merida and in the afternoon to rest and refresh in the pool. Therefore we care sleep and tranquility of our guests and have designed rules to achieve a quiet Hostel from 12 at night (24 hours) off the lights in the kitchen and common areas and invites people -who wish, to continue the party to go at different bars and restaurants near the hostel.

The Hostel is open 24 hours.

We have 16 private rooms (with capacity for 1,2,3 and up to 6 people) and 42 beds in dormitories for girls and mixed. We can accommodate up to 100 guests.

We are united in RED POC NA Hostel in Isla Mujeres with capacity for 140 guests and ROSCO Backpackers San Cristobal de las Casas with 60 beds.

And remember that Merida is one of the safest cities in the world and also the Mexican Mayan Route (Cancun - Isla Mujeres / Merida / San Cristobal de las Casas).
