Recent review by customer:
' Delightful staff, AMAZING food, many different baths to choose from, and a lovely setting. For the price, there is not way you can beat this place! ' D.W. from USA

Its paradise onsen baths are famous among Japanese guests from Tokyo and Osaka. All staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic and traditional, but comfortable and always kept clean. Shimoda, popular among foreign tourists is only 3 stops from the nearest station.

Special features at Tsuribashi-so include our popular private Green Tea Bath ('matcha bath' / charges apply) and 10 other kinds of natural baths, all from deep underground natural reserves. To sit in a bath of Green Tea by a rushing mountain stream while drinking cold green tea is a great experience for everyone. While you are in the outdoor bath on the roof of the building you can hear the sound of the mountain stream or watch the sunrise over the mountains, which is also breathtaking!!

The hotel owner also organises drop offs up the valley allowing access to walking tours. Crossing the loop-style suspension bridge to get to it at night is fun although a little scary for you. You will enjoy your whole experience here from the heavenly baths (both indoor and outdoor) to the food and all the service provided.
